01
Surgery is the last resort
Most foot and ankle problems are solved with the right diagnosis, footwear, rehabilitation or injections. You will always hear the non-surgical options first.
02
Keyhole-first, when it is surgery
Arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques mean smaller incisions, less pain, and a faster return to your feet.
03
Fellowship-trained focus
Not a generalist who also sees feet — a surgeon trained specifically in foot & ankle, treating nothing else, every single day.
04
Rehab until you are truly back
Treatment ends when you are back to walks, work and sport — not when the stitches come out. Recovery milestones are planned with you.
Steps, given back.
Two years of ankle pain after an old cricket injury — three different doctors, no answers. One consultation here, a keyhole procedure, and I trekked Harishchandragad six months later. I only wish I had come sooner.

Ankle Arthroscopy · Satellite, Ahmedabad
I hid my feet for ten years and accepted the pain as age. The surgery was far gentler than I feared — I was walking the same day. My only regret is the ten years I waited.

Snapped my Achilles mid-smash on the badminton court. From the first visit there was a clear plan with dates — surgery, walking, rehab milestones. Back on court in seven months, exactly as promised.

Questions patients actually ask.
Do I need a referral to book a consultation?
No. You can book directly through this website, by phone, or on WhatsApp. If you already have reports or scans from another doctor, simply bring them along.
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Any previous X-rays, MRI/CT scans and reports, your list of current medications, and — importantly — the shoes you wear most often. Footwear tells us a great deal about your feet.
Will I definitely need surgery?
Very unlikely. The majority of foot and ankle problems are treated without surgery — with the right diagnosis, footwear changes, targeted physiotherapy, orthotics or injections. Surgery is recommended only when it is genuinely the best option for you, and you will always hear the alternatives first.
How soon can I walk after keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery?
Most ankle arthroscopies are daycare procedures — you go home the same evening and walk with support within a few days. Return to desk work is typically within a week, and to sports between 6 and 12 weeks depending on what was treated.
Do you treat children’s foot problems?
Yes — clubfoot (Ponseti casting), flexible flat feet, toe-walking, in-toeing and sports injuries in children are all assessed and treated. Most children need careful observation rather than surgery.
Is cashless insurance / mediclaim available for surgery?
Procedures performed at our affiliated hospitals support cashless mediclaim with most major insurers and TPAs. Our team helps you with the pre-authorisation paperwork — just bring your policy details.
Can I have an online / video consultation first?
Yes. A video consultation works well for reviewing reports, second opinions and follow-ups. Do note that many foot and ankle conditions eventually need a hands-on examination for an accurate diagnosis.
